Dear Son, let one hear as Soon as anything is done and what give my Duty to Madme Foxcroft and Love to the Child and Grandchild. Send the Inclosd as Directed Carry Mr [illegible] yourself and give my Compliments to him, and other, Inquiring friend, Remember, the advises given especially those that Relate to your Soul and a future State Carefully attend prayers publick and Private, Be on your guard constantly on Sabbath, Remember that the Eye of God is Continually on, you Don’t In large your Acquaintances. Be kindly disposed toward all But be Intimate with few, very few. If you Buy a [Balsted?- illegible] let it be made of good Season Stuff. And made strong as you may lett Mr. Sampson to any body that wants, He had rather Sell it very cheap than that it Should be Sent home as he don’t want it
Don’t go to Boston and Beware of all that Come from Boston, Maintain your good Character if possible to Improve your privileges
